About Us
Miryoku combines the convenience of online shopping with the
ability to try on an item before purchase to check for comfort and fit.
Customers simply select the pieces from the website’s wide range of clothes.
Then, a personal stylist calls to set an appointment, then brings the items to
them. If they don’t like it, they can return it without any charges.
This fresh concept in online retail was developed by Pauline Tella. As a
young mother, she found it difficult to shop for clothes while taking care of a
very active toddler. The lines were long, the commute was a hassle, and she
simply had too many things to do to spend her time wandering from boutique to
boutique. She developed the store to respond to the needs of a busy
fashionista parents, busy executives, working mums, or any woman who would like
to experience having a “personal stylist” to bring the clothes and give expert
advice while she tries them on.
The Collection
Miryoku carries both classic and trendy items similar to those
found in very popular European designer brands—but at a very affordable price
(all items are below £60). Many of the items are imported from Europe,
they meet the highest standards in retail, and are impeccably made, some even have very fine detail, and are
hand-stitched and beaded. Brands include Byoung, Ichi and Implicate Woman. Clearly, these are clothes that a
fashionista can wear with pride.
Miryoku caters for women who want
to look stylish but prefer classic investment pieces that will be as
fashionable for many seasons. These should also be easy to match with other
items in their closet, while providing that “extra oomph” to jazz up an
ensemble and keep their look up to date. Many pieces are suitable for work, or
can be “dressed down” with accessories for a chic weekend ensemble.
The Service
One frequent concern that online shoppers have about buying from a retail
website is that they can’t try on the clothes. Sizes can vary from brand to
brand, and even if something “fits” they would still like to see if the item
flatters their figure, or “falls right”.
It’s something that only a woman would understand.
And as a woman, Pauline Tella created the unique service of allowing
customers to try on the clothes, eliminating the frustration of having to send
back an item several times because it doesn’t fit well. By scheduling an
appointment with the Miryoku representative, customers have the
convenience of having someone bring over the items to their home or office.
Adjustments and changes can be made immediately (they can request for several
sizes, so they can see which one fits well), and they have the peace of mind of
knowing that their purchase looks as good on them as it does on the computer
screen.
The personal delivery service is limited to the Central
London area, although we do accept online orders
through the website.
